Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay, an IHG Hotel

This is a really fantastic hotel, located in a nice and quiet part of Phu Quoc, away from the busy centre of the island. The resort is very nice, but not as big as others and so you always get a quick, friendly and personal service from the staff. Upon arriving at the hotel, a welcome drink was given by the staff which was very nice. The room was big, spacious, modern and very clean, and the same for the bathroom. The balcony was great, with very nice views overlooking the pool and the sea. The facilities in the hotel are great, with a games room, kids area, fitness centre, big pool area, 2 restaurants with a wide menu and good drinks, and also a private beach with security and clean sands and sea water. This is the perfect location to see the sunset, and would highly recommend speaking to the staff at the beach restaurant as they can arrange a tapas/drinks picnic to watch the sunset. The hotel also arranges a free shuttle bus to and from the airport, but if your flight times don't meet this, then you can get a free bus from the airport to a nearby report and then a very short caddy/taxi to the Crowne Plaza. The breakfast at this hotel is a big highlight, and there is such a wide variety of choices, and all the food is all very fresh and well prepared. The best part of this hotel though are the staff who are all so genuine, friendly and helpful, the hotel is lucky to have such great staff. I want to thank in particular Nhan, Gin, Ngoc (Jade), An (Tomato), An (Andy), Chi and Danish who went above to make the stay extra special. They would remember drink selections, foods and recommend things to do in Phu Quoc and on mainland Vietnam which was very helpful. Gin and Ngoc (Jade) even personally said goodbye upon check-out and provided complimentary refreshments for the journey to the airport which was a nice touch. The spa was also very nice and I highly recommend the massages. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Employees at Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay, an IHG Hotel make this hotel phenomenal! All the staff go above and beyond to assist and accommodate, from valet to check-in to cleaning, were delightful and eager to help! A special thank you to DAT KYO a true professional, exceeding expectations, demonstrating outstanding customer service and included his team with a fun photo of Tony and me. Also, TOM the chef made a delicious spaghetti Bolognese's & carbonara. We will be back as the facilities and staff make this HOTEL. Thank you Ms Baldassarre and Tony :)

The design of the hotel is very nice. Breakfast is amazing, the pool is nice.

Staff were amazing and competent. Food offered during the breakfast was high quality and tasty. Well located if you want to visit grand world, vinwonders (excellent show at the end of the day) and vinsafari.

Location location location - set on a long stretch of powder white beach and calm crystal waters. Also close to Grand World, to which the hotel runs a regular shuttle service, although you could walk it in 15 minutes.
